Many of the large Internet sites carry an economic calendar. For example, http://www.bloomberg.com/ , http://www.briefing.com/ , http://www.schaeffersresearch.com/ and http://www.thestreet.com/ each have an economic calendar readily accessible while http://biz.yahoo.com/calendar displays the calendar from http://www.briefing.com.
http://fidweek.econoday.com/ has a clear calendar of economic events and analyses of U.S. and international economic matters. The same calendar is shown at http://mam.econoday.com/ and at http://www.barrons.com. Click on a month and a date and the calendar for the week appears. Click on any of the events and a description of the event is shown along with an explanation titled “Why Do Investors Care?” shows the same calendar.
http://money.cnn.com/markets/IRC/ shows the economic events for the next couple of weeks. Click on details to obtain the actual figure, if reported, the prior figure and the consensus of opinions for the coming event.
http://www.gkst.com/ has an economic data release calendar that shows a table of actual, forecast and previous values for the week. Often there is an article giving details and comment on the major releases.
http://www.market-harmonics.com/ offers a weekly economic calendar showing the consensus and previous figures.
http://www.mfr.com/, shows the U.S. economic indicators to be released for about a month ahead, with the median expected, the previous figure and the MFR estimate. Actuals are added as they are reported.
