Associations, investor clubs and trade shows are the places where investors meet. The reson you need to know about these is that investing can be a lonely business. Meeting with others who share the same interest is not only good for your investing but it helps to fit investing into the life style you want. There are numerous associations and many investor clubs all over the country. If you would like to list your association or club here please send an email to info@investorinternet.com . There are several national trade shows in the USA each year. They are usually in convention centers or major hotels in cities such as New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Anaheim, New Orleans and others. It has more than 50 local chapters in cities all over the country. Meeting schedules are available on the Internet site. http://www.daytradersusa.com/ holds meetings featuring a speaker on the second and fourth Saturday morning of each month in Costa Mesa in Southern California. The meetings are broadcast for those who live far away. http://www.iiconf.com/ holds investment conferences related to commodities. Many stocks on the U.S. stock exchanges are based on companies that mine, process and distribute commodities. http://www.intershow.com/ and http://www.tradersexpo.com/ are the sites for checking out the dates and locations of upcoming investment trade shows. One of Intershow’s main objectives is to educate investors and it does this with shows across the country and a few cruises each year.
